βš™οΈ Global Preferences Setup

The Global Preferences section allows you to define system-wide behaviors that apply across Pulsawork’s core modules: HR, Finance, Attendance, Logistics, and more. These settings affect how features behave by default, including time tracking, orders, contracts, and recruitment workflows.

πŸŽ› You can access this section under:
Operations β†’ Settings β†’ Global Preferences

πŸ“… Date Format Preference

Control how dates appear across the entire platform. This affects:

  • Dashboards
  • Form inputs
  • Reports
  • Exports

Current selected format: DD.MM.YYYY
Example output: 05.05.2025

πŸ“¦ Order Preferences

What It Does

Enables or disables which order types your organization can use for work planning, HR processing, or invoicing.

You can also set the default agenda (status label) shown when these orders are created.

βœ… Supported Order Types

Order Type Description Documentation
Recruitment Orders Used for requesting and managing new hires View
Employment Orders Assign internal employees to specific roles/contracts View
Business Orders General contracts and external business activity View
Service Orders Record service-based requests or job delivery View
Transport Orders Manage logistics, employee transport, and routes View

These types are configured under Orders.

Default Agenda Type for Orders

Define the initial agenda (e.g., β€œSent”) automatically used when a new order is created:

Order Type Default Agenda Manual
Transport Orders Sent Open
Business Orders (Sale) Sent Open

Agendas help in filtering and timeline visibility across operational modules.

⏱ Attendance Preferences

Customize how attendance and time tracking behave across shifts, bonuses, and terminals.

  • [ ] Automatically Approve Bonuses
If enabled, bonuses assigned through HR will be approved immediately without manual review.

  • [ ] Allow QR Code Scanner
Enable QR scanning at the attendance terminal (e.g. wall-mounted kiosks or mobile check-in).

πŸŒ™ Set Tolerance for Marking Night Shift

When a shift is started without a planned night shift, this rule determines if it should be labeled as one based on start time.

Parameter Description
Time From: 18:30 Start of the tolerance window
Time To: 06:59 End of the tolerance window

If within this window, the system marks the record as night shift, affecting reporting and pay.
